YOULEAD AFRICA LEAD(H)ER FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2024 FOR YOUNG EASTERN AND SOUTHERN AFRICAN WOMEN (FULLY FUNDED)
The application deadline for the Lead(H)er Fellowship Program Cohort 3 is April 5th, 2024.
Applications are currently open for Cohort 3 of the Lead(H)er Fellowship Program, a collaborative initiative by YouLead Africa, Plan International MEESA, and the African Union Office of the Youth Envoy. This fellowship aims to empower young women in Eastern and Southern Africa by fostering their leadership skills in the fields of Politics, Economics/Business, and Peace and Security.
Eligibility:
– Applicants must be young women up to 25 years old.
– Applicants must be nationals or residents of the following countries: Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Malawi, Mozambique, Lesotho, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
The Lead(H)er Fellowship consists of a 5-month program, including in-person and virtual modules, supplemented by personal assignments, group work, and readings to enhance the learning experience.
Benefits:
– YouLead Africa Lead(H)er Fellowship covers the costs for physical participation and provides assistance with internet packages to facilitate online engagement and completion of related assignments.

To apply for the Lead(H)er Fellowship, ensure you meet the eligibility criteria and complete all sections of the application form. If you are from a different country, you may still submit your expression of interest for other activities.
