WRITING AS ACTIVISM FELLOWSHIP
The Writing as Activism Fellowship reimagines the role of writers in NYC, providing resources and assistance to create literary works that prioritize activism around community and social justice issues. This fellowship entails a six-month immersive workshop for six New York City-based writer-activists dedicated to amplifying the voices of the most marginalized within the city through their writing. The program concludes with the presentation of individual and collaborative projects to the public, marking the debut of a cohort of writers prepared to harness their creativity in activist spheres. Fellows receive an honorarium for their participation.
