Applications are now open for the 2024 WeThinkCode_ Software Development Programme. WeThinkCode_ is a groundbreaking coding academy based in Johannesburg, offering a tuition-free course fully sponsored by companies seeking top-tier computer programming talent. The programme is open to everyone, with no requirement for a matric certificate or any other diploma—just a keen problem-solving mindset.

With access to state-of-the-art technologies, you’ll be coding alongside passionate, world-class students. The curriculum focuses on enabling students to access, filter, compare, and use relevant data to solve problems. Students have access to the campus seven days a week and engage in a peer-oriented environment where they evaluate each other’s work and complete feedback loops.

Application Requirements:

• Applicants must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• Applicants must possess one of the following:
  • Valid South African ID
  • Valid Passport with work permit
  • Valid Asylum Seekers Permit
• WeThinkCode_ is a full-time programme, so applicants cannot be currently working or studying at another institution.

3. Complete Online Assessment: After submitting the application form, you will receive a link to the entrance test via email.
4. Complete Selection Bootcamp: If you pass the entrance test, you will be invited to attend one of the selection bootcamps.
5. Pass Selection Interview: Successful completion of a selection bootcamp may lead to an invitation for a final interview.
6. Complete Enrollment Process: If your application is successful, you will be invited to complete the enrollment process, which involves signing all relevant contractual documents.
