UNHCR SCHOLARSHIPS: EINSTEIN PROGRAM FOR REFUGEES 2024
The DAFI program offers scholarships to registered refugees in Uganda pursuing undergraduate degrees. Don’t miss the May 31st deadline!
Who can apply?
- Refugees officially registered with OPM Uganda and UNHCR-Uganda
- Between 18-35 years old (born between 1989 and 2006)
- Completed secondary school with official documentation
- May have a recognized technical or vocational training certificate (TVET)
- Have basic English language skills (written and spoken)
- Facing financial barriers to undergraduate education

How to Apply:
- Submit an online application by May 31st, 5 pm Kampala Time: link to application form
- Applications must be completed electronically; no paper applications will be accepted.
- Ensure all supporting documents are scanned and uploaded as clear images (JPEG or PDF).

- Proof of refugee status in Uganda
- Academic transcripts and certificates
- Reference letters
- Proof of financial need
