UN SDG ACTION AWARDS 2024
Applications are now open for the 2024 UN SDG Action Awards. The UN SDG Action Awards, a signature programme of the UN SDG Action Campaign, champions initiatives and committed individuals who are wielding the power of creativity and innovation to bring us closer to a more sustainable, equitable and peaceful world.
The UN SDG Action Campaign is searching for passionate changemakers like you! Apply for the 2024 UN SDG Action Awards and showcase your impactful initiative on a global stage.
Eligibility:
- Your campaign or initiative must have demonstrably achieved results within the last three years, aligning with the 2024 Award categories. Initiatives in the planning stage are not eligible.
- Initiatives led by UN entities or national governments are only considered for honorable mentions.
The Finalist Package:
- Fully-Funded Trip to Rome: A representative from each finalist initiative will attend the UN SDG Action Awards Ceremony and a one-day Finalist Induction Programme in Rome, Italy (October 2024).
- Induction Programme: Gain valuable skills and network with fellow changemakers through workshops and discussions.
- Global Recognition: Showcase your work to a worldwide audience through UN platforms and beyond.
- Prestigious Recognition: Receive a customized trophy, a symbol of your achievement.
Selection Process:
A high-level panel and technical team review over 5,000 applications annually from 190 countries. Finalists are chosen from this pool, and winners are then selected from the finalists.
Notification:
Finalists will be contacted directly by the UN SDG Action Campaign by September 2024.
