“TUESDAY MARKS THE INAUGURATION OF THE NATIONAL MSMEs BUSINESS CLINICS, ANNOUNCES SHETTIMA.”

The Vice President, Kashim Shettima, is scheduled to officially open the Expanded National Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Business Clinics in Abeokuta, Ogun State on Tuesday.

As part of his one-day visit to Ogun State, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Lekan Adeniran, clarified that the Expanded National MSMEs Business Clinic is a collaborative initiative between the federal government and state governments. The primary objective is to address challenges impeding the progress of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by facilitating access to capital, aiding in business formalization, and providing a platform for product exhibition, among other benefits.

The business clinic will facilitate interactions between small business owners and regulatory bodies such as the National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), and others. Grant presentations to eligible MSMEs will also be featured during the event.

In addition to the MSMEs Business Clinics, the Vice President will inaugurate the Fashion Hub project at the Old OGTV auditorium. This project involves the provision of more than 150 state-of-the-art tailoring equipment for stakeholders in the fashion industry.
