Applications are currently being accepted for the 2024 Next Generation Foresight Practitioners (NGFP) Fellowship. This fellowship offers an opportunity for young professionals to receive support as they delve into the futures and foresight field. Recognizing the solitary nature of futurism, especially for young individuals who often engage in foresight alongside their regular jobs and without compensation, the fellowship aims to provide a platform for the next generation of foresight enthusiasts to connect globally, receive mentorship, enhance foresight skills, engage in regional and sector-specific hubs, and access funding for foresight projects. Fellows will also have the chance to participate in relevant events in the futures and foresight field and connect with decision-makers at the highest levels.
Requirements:
- Individuals aged between 18 and 35, as well as those older with less than five years of foresight experience.
- Encouragement for applications from individuals residing in the Global South and those addressing the world’s most complex issues or participating in the Foresight Transformation Mission.
Funding:
- Each fellow receives an initial prize of USD 1,000 to develop and expedite their project.
- At the culmination of their one-year journey, all fellows are eligible to compete for the Fellowship Main Prize, which offers a more substantial grant of at least USD 10,000 and recognizes those who have maximized their fellowship experience
