Applications for the Fall 2024-25 term are currently open for the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, a collaborative initiative with the American University of Beirut (AUB).
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program aims to empower young individuals to become catalysts for positive change in their communities, countries, and regions. Scholars engage in a comprehensive curriculum, including workshops, courses, and fieldwork, alongside their degree studies.
Valued at $9 million, the AUB Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program is designed for proactive young adults committed to addressing community concerns. It offers full scholarships for pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health or Medical Laboratory Sciences at AUB. Beyond covering tuition and living expenses, the program includes intensive preparatory courses, mentorship, career counseling, and internships in relevant institutions. Additionally, a unique give-back component encourages students to contribute to their communities through volunteer projects and activities.
Requirements:
- Open to nationals of Africa.
- Open to refugees and displaced individuals living in Lebanon.
- Undergraduate scholarships are available to nationals of Lebanon or refugees and displaced individuals residing in Lebanon.

- Upload supporting documents as per the requirements indicated on the online application.
- Once you reach the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program box in the application, click on “Apply” in order to recieve the financial survey link specific to this scholarship that needs to be filled and submitted before the application deadline.
