THE AFRICA POSTGRADUATE EXCELLENCE AWARD FOR 2024/2025 IS OFFERED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF NOTTINGHAM FOR AFRICAN STUDENTS.
The University of Nottingham is offering Africa Postgraduate Excellence Award towards full-time masters tuition fees for high-achieving international students who live in Africa.
This scholarship is for Master’s level studies. To qualify, you must:
- Reside in Africa
- Be categorized as an international student for fee purposes
- Have received an offer to pursue a full-time Master’s degree (including MRes) in any field at the University of Nottingham UK, starting in September or October 2024.
You might also be eligible for the Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship. While you can apply for both, you’ll only receive one.
Selection is based on your achievements, study plans, and reasons for choosing the University of Nottingham. Prepare strong responses. We evaluate your answers and academic performance to make scholarship decisions.
This opportunity is open to students from African countries. It will take place in the UK.

Value of Award: £4,000 contribution towards tuition fees.
If you are awarded this scholarship, it will be deducted from the tuition fees charged to you as a student at the University of Nottingham. We will not pay tuition fee scholarships to you directly.
