Stolen documents: Ganduje’s aide faults Kano governor claim
The All Progressives Congress has faulted the claim by the Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, that hired miscreants masquerading as protesters looted some ‘sensitive documents’ relating to the corruption trial of its National Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje.
This was disclosed in a statement issued in Abuja on Thursday by Ganduje’s Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu.
Recall that on August 14, the governor in a statement after he paid an on-the-spot assessment visit to the court, which was vandalised by hoodlums during the recent nationwide anti-hunger protests, said ‘enemies of the state hired undesirable elements’ to vandalise one of its historic public buildings and carted away the corruption charges files of the APC national chairman.
According to him, it was obvious that the vandals were on a sponsored mission.
