RUNNING START CONGRESSIONAL FELLOWSHIP [Running Start]
Every spring and autumn, Running Start meticulously chooses eight Congressional Fellows via a rigorous and competitive application process. The program, maintaining a nonpartisan stance, actively seeks applicants with diverse political affiliations. From Monday to Thursday, Fellows undertake internships with a female Member of Congress, while Fridays are dedicated to training sessions led by political experts at Running Start’s office, followed by mentorship from high-level political mentors. Fellows reside together in a Capitol Hill house at no cost and receive a $2,500 living stipend for the semester.
