ROTARY/UNESCO-IHE SCHOLARSHIPS 2024/2025 FOR WATER AND SANITATION PROFESSIONALS.

The strategic partnership between The Rotary Foundation (TRF)
IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, in collaboration with the Rotary Foundation, endeavors to address the global water and sanitation crisis by augmenting the pool of proficient individuals capable of formulating, strategizing, and executing solutions in developing and emerging nations. Annually, scholarships are granted through this collaboration for postgraduate students studying at IHE Delft’s campus in the Netherlands.
The primary aim of these scholarships is to cultivate enduring and fruitful connections between Rotarians and adept water and sanitation experts within their communities.
The application process is as follows: Rotarians interview and select from local candidates who have already been academically admitted at the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education’s MSc Programme in Water and Sustainable Development, to one of the following thematic tracks:
- Water and Health
- Water, Food and Energy
- Water Resources and Ecosystems Health
- Water Hazards, Risks and Climate
Application procedure
- Apply for admission for the IHE Delft Master program in Water and Sustainable Development by 1 April 2024 at the latest
- Early on in the application process, search for your nearest Rotary club
- Approach the club and request to nominate you for a Rotary scholarship
- The application form needs to be completed by you and by the Rotary Club
- After full completion of the form, the sponsoring Rotary Club submits your application to the Rotary/IHE Delft selection committee in The Netherlands by 15 April 2024 at the latest
- After the selection all candidates will be informed about the outcome before 15 May 2024
- Final approval is pending formal endorsement by The Rotary Foundation 1 July 2024
