Operatives from the Edo State Police Command apprehended five individuals suspected of being involved in cult activities. The arrested individuals are Emeka Eke, Chizoba Okolie, Samson Ochonobor, Friday Agbebayo, and Julius Eguasa. The arrest was made in connection with their alleged participation in street fighting.

According to reports, the suspects, believed to be affiliated with the Eiye Confraternity, were involved in a street brawl at Ramat Park in Benin. The dispute arose due to the purported failure of one member to pay his monthly dues and attend scheduled meetings.

He added, “It was discovered that four of the suspects, Emeka Eke, Chizoba Okolie, Samson Ochonobo, and Friday Abgebayo, were beating Julius Eguasa for failing to attend their meetings and paying his monthly dues to the confraternity.”
