“ONE WORLD MEDIA FELLOWSHIP SEEKS APPLICATIONS FROM FILMMAKERS, JOURNALISTS”
Application Deadline: March 21, 2024 — Filmmakers and journalists in the early to mid-stages of their careers, hailing from the global south and possessing compelling non-fiction stories about the global south, are invited to apply for the One World Media fellowship.
The One World Media fellowship serves as a launchpad for emerging talents dedicated to covering stories globally with creativity and integrity.
Successful fellows receive a £1,000 production grant, personalized mentoring, and participate in a year-round program featuring industry workshops and webinars. Throughout this period, fellows work on creating a non-fiction media piece.
This Fellowship is tailored for aspiring journalists and filmmakers from the global south engaged in film, print, audio, photography, or multimedia.
While the fellowship is open to applicants worldwide, it strongly encourages submissions from underrepresented groups, including people of color, ethnic groups, women, LGBTQ+, and individuals with disabilities.
