NURTW DISTRIBUTES FOODSTUFFS AND CASH TO WIDOWS

The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Kaduna State has provided food items and financial assistance to the widows and orphans of their deceased members. Alhaji Tanimu Aliyu Zaria, the State NURTW Chairman, stated that this initiative aims to alleviate the economic challenges faced by the beneficiaries, including elderly members, during these challenging times.

The assistance includes N10,000 and a piece of new textile cloth for each beneficiary, with 323 men benefiting from the funds to secure food. Alhaji Tanimu Aliyu Zaria encouraged members to offer prayers and expressed that this support is just the beginning, with plans for subsequent phases.
