Kashifu Inuwa, the Director General of NITDA, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, noting that it aligns with the Agency’s newly developed Strategic Roadmap and Action Plan (SRAP 2024-2027). This collaboration focuses on building a robust technology research ecosystem, promoting inclusive access to digital infrastructure and services, and nurturing an innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Assuring support from NITDA, Inuwa believes the proposed technology development zone will catalyze transformative change in the country. Plans for the partnership include accelerating the technology development zone across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, formalized through a memorandum of understanding.
Santanam expressed gratitude to the NITDA team for agreeing to partner with eVillage. He highlighted the opportunities offered by eVillage, emphasizing the potential for significant development within Nigeria’s youthful population and the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
