NAM FELLOWSHIP TO ADVANCE STATE HEALTH POLICY

The National Academy of Medicine (NAM) offers the NAM Fellowship to Advance State Health Policy, providing early-career health science scholars from Wisconsin with the opportunity to actively participate in health care or public health studies that improve patient care and access to care. This program aims to prepare young investigators to contribute to the future of health care while accelerating their own career development. The fellowship requires a time commitment of 10-20% to engage in the National Academies’ health and science policy work and provides a flexible research grant of $25,000 to each fellow.

Interested candidates must be nominated by an NAM member or a senior leader from a Wisconsin school or university and must hold a doctoral degree, be a non-tenured member of an academic faculty, and reside in the state of Wisconsin. The call for nominations for the 2024 cycle is open until 3:00pm ET on June 3, 2024.
