MID-CAREER PROFESSIONALS APPLY NOW: THE MIRA FELLOWSHIP

We are collaboratively shaping a blueprint for our cultural future by reimagining entrenched issues and devising solutions that empower individuals to take action. Throughout history, transformative change has often arisen from subtle shifts in perspective. In our contemporary global society, we confront numerous seemingly insurmountable problems. The Mira Fellowship aims to provide an opportunity for motivated individuals to tackle these pressing issues by stepping back, gaining new insights, and crafting actionable plans.

Fellows will have six months to research, design, and produce a straightforward, actionable strategy for change. How can we redefine waste? What fresh perspectives can we bring to privacy concerns? How might we reimagine education? What is your game-changing question for the world?

This cohort-based fellowship offers participants a creator toolbox, summits, coaching, collaborative opportunities with peers, exclusive access to Mira micro-grants for alternative perspectives, and ongoing networking and engagement with alumni and community networks.

Eligibility:

  • Observant
  • Flexible yet determined to navigate challenges
  • Enjoys collaborative work
  • Seeks diverse perspectives
  • Deeply knowledgeable in their field
  • Established mid-career professionals with a desire for more impactful contributions

Commitment & Support:

The fellowship demands a significant commitment from each Fellow. Many participants may choose to maintain their full-time jobs, as the fellowship does not provide salary-level compensation. Key components include:

  • Coaching: Weekly or biweekly remote coaching support tailored to each Fellow’s needs.
  • Cohort Meetings: Monthly or bimonthly online check-ins, providing support and brainstorming sessions.
  • Cohort Collaboration: Pairing each Fellow with another for ongoing thought partnership and accountability.
  • Summits: Three virtual gatherings during the fellowship, with an optional annual in-person cross-cohort Community Summit.
  • Micro Grants: Exclusive access to Mira micro-grants for developing alternative perspectives and diving deep into their work.
  • Testing: Fellows must live-test their action plans and collect result data.

Deliverables:

Upon completion, each Fellow will present their redefined social vision, outlining the tested steps needed for implementation:

  • The narrative of their envisioned future.
  • The actionable steps required to achieve that vision.

The application window is open from April 15 to June 1.
