MICROSOFT RESEARCH INDIA FELLOWSHIP 2024 FOR PhD COURSES

The Microsoft Research India Fellowship 2024 for PhD Courses is being announced by Microsoft Research India for eligible candidates pursuing their PhD courses. The application process is expected to commence in March-April. Interested students must apply for the Fellowship before the deadline. A maximum of 5 students are awarded the Fellowship annually to pursue doctoral education in Computer Science and related fields such as Electrical/Electronics/Communication Engineering. Selected scholars receive a Fellowship fund of INR 2,50,000 covering tuition fees, books, accommodation, monthly stipend, and electronic gadgets like laptops/computers.

The selection process for the Fellowship is rigorous, involving evaluation by a Selection Panel comprising experienced professionals from Microsoft Research Department, a personal interview, and submission of a Letter of Reference. Eligible candidates must be Indian citizens enrolled in a PhD program at an Indian University, preferably in their 1st/2nd/3rd year of studies, and must be from computer science areas.

Required documents include a Letter of Reference, marks memos of previous years, and identity proof. The application process involves visiting the official website, signing up, downloading the Research Statement of Purpose, filling required fields, uploading resume and Research Statement of Purpose, providing email IDs of three reference writers, and submitting the application online.

Applicants must ensure they meet all eligibility criteria and complete the registration process accurately. Taking a printout of the application for future reference is recommended.
