MAJORITY OF ENTERPRISES IMPLEMENTING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE EXPRESS WILLINGNESS TOWARDS A FOUR-DAY WORKWEEK

In a survey of 1047 US business leaders by Tech.co’s Impact of Technology on the Workplace report, 93% of AI-utilizing businesses consider or have implemented a 4-day work week. Millennials and Gen X leadership show greater support for a shorter work week than Baby Boomers. Only 41% of businesses without AI adoption are open to a 4-day work week. The findings indicate that AI may be the key to successfully implementing a 4-day work week in 2024. Age also plays a role, with 65% of Millennial and Gen X senior leaders open to the idea, compared to 45% of Baby Boomer senior leaders. The combination of AI and a shortened work week shows a positive impact on employee wellbeing and productivity, with 72% of heavy AI-users reporting high organizational productivity.
