Applications are now open for the 2024/2025 M-Pesa Africa Internship Program. M-Pesa is inviting applications for internships in various business areas including Commercial, Risk & Compliance, Human Resources, Finance, Legal, Partnerships, Cybersecurity, and Technology.
Program Overview
The internship program runs quarterly:
- July to September
- October to December
- January to March 2025
Applications will be accepted once for the entire financial year, allowing you to choose your preferred quarter.
As an intern, you will receive on-the-job training and work alongside experienced leaders, tackling business challenges that have a real impact. This program is designed to help you develop your skills and expand your professional network in a dynamic environment, supporting your long-term career goals.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the 2024/2025 M-Pesa Africa Internship Program, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be in the final or penultimate year of a Bachelor’s degree program or have graduated within the last year from an accredited institution.
- Be on break from school during the chosen internship period.
- Be available to work full-time (Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm) for the entire duration of the internship.
- Select only one quarter for the internship period.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should:
- Have a strong desire to gain professional experience and a curiosity to learn about the corporate environment.
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and confidently challenge the status quo.
- Be proficient in MS Office Suite.
