INUWA AFFIRMS NITDA’S DEDICATION TO FOSTER GROWTH IN NORTH’S INNOVATION ECOSYSTEM

Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, the director-general of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), has reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to supporting and catalyzing the emergence and growth of the innovation ecosystem in northern Nigeria.

The director-general provided this assurance considering the comparatively low visibility of the innovation ecosystem in Northern Nigeria, despite the region being a hub of innovators, creatives, startups, and numerous success stories.

He made these remarks while delivering a keynote address at a ‘Stakeholders’ Engagement on the State of the Northern Innovation Ecosystem’ held in Abuja.
