Interswitch Career Fair 3.0 Overview

Interswitch Group, a leading integrated payments and digital commerce company in Africa, has reaffirmed its commitment to empowering young Nigerians in their career journeys towards personal and professional success. The Interswitch Career Fair 3.0, themed “Reimagining Work: People, Culture, Technology,” provided valuable resources and insights to career-driven individuals and young professionals, positioning them for success in the modern and future workplace.

The firm disclosed this at the just concluded Interswitch Career Fair 3.0 held at the Landmark Event Centre, in Lagos on Saturday, May 25, 2024.

Event Highlights and Speakers

This year’s edition, building on the success of previous seasons, hosted experts from Interswitch Group and various industries, including Finance, Technology, Sales, Marketing, and Human Resources. The first panel session featured:

  • Robinta Aluyi, Vice President Sales and Account Management, Interswitch
  • Elizabeth Okonji, Founder, TGL Labs
  • Ivie Temitayo-Ibitoye, Head, Employee Experience, Sahara Group
  • Adora Ikwuemesi, Founder, Kendor Consulting

The panelists answered questions from attendees, providing extensive career-development advice and strategies for thriving in their respective fields.

Keynote Speeches

Mitchell Elegbe, founder and group managing director of Interswitch Group, emphasized the event’s importance in discovering emerging talents and raising transformative leaders to drive innovative solutions in Nigeria and Africa’s labor market. He stated:

Franklin Ali, Chief Human Resource Officer, Interswitch Nigeria, highlighted the program’s objective of equipping top talent with the necessary skills to thrive in today’s evolving workplace. He noted the partnerships with leading organizations such as LinkedIn, ProductDive, ALX, Oscar Temple, Kendor, Udemy, Decagon, and Semicolon to enhance the offerings available to attendees.

Debola Deji-Kurunmi, Founder of IMMERSE Coaching Company, delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the fair’s role in advancing careers and leveraging cutting-edge technology and productivity tools for capacity building and market competitiveness.

The second panel session focused on building tech careers and included:
