GREENWALL FELLOWSHIP IN BIOETHICS

The Greenwall Faculty Scholars Program in Bioethics offers a career development award to junior faculty members, providing 50% salary support for three years to enable them to carry out innovative bioethics research. The program aims to address pressing ethical issues in clinical, biomedical, and public health decision-making, policy, and practice, and fosters a community that enhances future bioethics research by Scholars and Alumni/ae.

Eligibility and Priority Criteria

  • Applicants must be junior faculty members at a university or non-profit research institute with a faculty appointment that allows at least 50% effort to perform research.
  • Priority is given to applicants who have not yet been considered for tenure or an equivalent promotion, and whose research will impact clinical, biomedical, and public health decision-making, policy, and practice.
  • The Foundation values and supports diverse voices in bioethics and particularly welcomes applicants from underrepresented backgrounds.

Application Process

  • Only one applicant from a university or non-profit research institute will be considered in each application cycle.
