FULLY FUNDED AFRICAN UNION ESISMAD SCHOLARSHIP (PROJECT AFRICAN) 2024

The European Union, in collaboration with the African Union, offers the ESISMAD Scholarship to interested and qualified students who wish to study at African and European universities.

DETAILS OF ESISMAD PROJECT AFRICAN SCHOLARSHIP:

• Covers all related costs including tuition, accommodation, living expenses, research, flight, and visa costs for successful applicants.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: To qualify for the ESISMAD Project African Scholarship 2024, applicants must:

• Be nationals of an African Union member state and reside in Africa.
• Be registered/admitted in or hold a degree (or equivalent) from a Higher Education Institution (HEI) in Africa.
• Have an interest and experience in fields such as Materials Science, Solar Energy, Physics, Inorganic Chemistry, Materials Electrochemistry, and Energy Technologies, under the ESIMSAD project.
• Have sufficient knowledge of the language of the courses in the host countries.

BENEFITS OF ESISMAD SCHOLARSHIP 2024:

• Round-trip flight ticket and visa costs covered.
• Participation costs of €6,000 including tuition fees, registration fees, and service fees.
• Insurance coverage (health, accident, travel).
• Settling-in allowance.
• Monthly subsistence allowance.
• Contribution towards research costs associated with student mobility of 10 months or longer.
• Female master’s and doctoral scholarship holders receive an additional allowance corresponding to one month’s subsistence per academic year, for mobility equal to or longer than two academic years.
