FULLY FUNDED 2024 ISLAMIC DEVELOPMENT BANK (IsDB)/TURKIYE SCHOLARSHIPS
The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Scholarship aims to support academically outstanding yet financially disadvantaged young Muslim students from Muslim communities in non-Muslim countries in pursuing Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Training programs.
Recognizing the significance of qualified human resources for social progress and sustainable development, IsDB has prioritized human capital development alongside its primary development financing activities.
Details of Islamic Development Bank (IsDB)/Turkiye Scholarships: The IsDB-Türkiye Scholarships Joint Scholarship Programme provides scholarships for international students from all IsDB Member Countries and Muslim Communities globally.
Prospective applicants should submit their applications through the Türkiye Scholarships website, supporting submissions in eight languages: Turkish, Arabic, English, French, Russian, Bosnian, Persian, and Spanish.
- IsDB Scholarship Program for Muslim Communities in Non-Member Countries (SPMC): Launched in 1983, the SPMC enables academically meritorious and financially challenged young Muslim students from Muslim communities in non-Member Countries to pursue undergraduate studies in various fields.
- IsDB Master of Science Scholarship Program (M.Sc.): Initiated in 1998, this program supports 20 IsDB LDMCs in developing their human capital, particularly in science and technology, crucial for their progress.
- IsDB Merit Scholarship Program for High Technology (MSP): Introduced in 1992, the MSP is dedicated to advanced studies and research (Ph.D. and post-Doctorate) in applied science and high technology areas deemed essential for Member Countries’ development.
- IsDB-ISFD Scholarship Program: Launched in 2019, in collaboration with the Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development (ISFD), this program targets poverty reduction in 21 Least Developed IsDB Member Countries (LDMCs), providing educational opportunities for academically meritorious and financially challenged individuals.
Eligibility Requirements for Islamic Development Bank (IsDB)/Turkiye Scholarships: Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Require financial assistance to continue their studies.
- Maximum age of 24 years.
- Not affiliated with IsDB Group staff or a close relative by blood or adoption.
- Completed senior secondary education with good grades in major science subjects.
- Demonstrate language proficiency in the university’s medium of instruction.
- Medically fit and willing to undergo a medical examination.
- Ideally, have secured admission in a relevant discipline at a recognized institution in their home country.
- Not residing in a country other than their home country.
- Not currently benefiting from another scholarship.
