The result? 95 teams tackling a wide range of issues, from disease detection to improving healthcare access, all while keeping environmental sustainability in mind.
Three truly groundbreaking innovations emerged from the competition. Tulivu.AI, a wearable device for expectant mothers, promises early detection of prenatal complications. SOTE.AI uses artificial intelligence to combat liver cancer, while MedLab Diagnostics leverages AI for early cervical cancer detection.
But Fuel Africa 2024’s impact goes beyond these initial innovations. The program is just the beginning. Futurize, the organization behind the initiative, offers the FuturizeU Incubator program.
