FELLOWSHIPS FOR EMERGING WRITERS

The fellowships for emerging writers aim to offer a continuous period of 12 months, providing dedicated time and studio space for writing. Additionally, fellows benefit from mentorship, receiving feedback from a nationally recognized author within their specific genre. Throughout the fellowship, participants are allowed to join one community creative writing workshop per semester and can participate in one Miami Writers Institute workshop aligned with the genre of their ongoing manuscript. Eligible applicants should not have published a book-length work in any genre, have a book under contract, or be in contract negotiations, either in the United States or abroad, at the commencement of the fellowship. Each fellow is granted a stipend of $50,000.
