ESTABLISHMENT OF HOME APPLIANCES FACTORY BY COMPANY

The Japanese Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Matsunaga Kazuyoshi, expressed admiration for Sacral Industries Limited’s courageous decision to establish a factory in Lagos for the assembly of consumer electronics and home appliances.

Mr. Kazuyoshi conveyed his appreciation during a factory tour of Sacral Industries Ltd in Lagos, leading a delegation from the Japanese Embassy, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Daikin Nigeria, and DaiTech Nigeria Limited.

During the tour, the Japanese ambassador commended the company’s initiative, emphasizing its positive impact on job creation for Nigerian youth and the enhancement of workforce capacity in the engineering field. He noted that Sacral Industries’ commitment and confidence in contributing to the growth of the Nigerian economy were evident through this action.

Assuring continued support from Japan, Mr. Kazuyoshi stated, “I am confident that a great future lies ahead for Nigeria’s economy as a whole with this significant step.”

Mr. Rajeev Girglani, the Managing Director of Sacral Industries Limited, expressed gratitude for the visit, considering it a morale booster for the company’s expansion plans. He revealed that Daikin Industries had chosen Sacral Industries as their manufacturing base in West Africa after careful assessment and deliberations.

Sacral Industries Limited, since its establishment in 2018, has achieved several milestones, including the production of its first air conditioner in August 2018, the first refrigerator and freezer in September 2018, and the first Panasonic air conditioner in April 2019. Girglani highlighted the company’s vision to be the most innovative and reliable manufacturer of consumer electronics and home appliances in Nigeria, emphasizing their fruitful partnerships with leading international organizations

According to him, within a short period since its incorporation in 2018, the company has achieved many milestones, including the production of its first air conditioner in August 2018, its first refrigerator and freezer produced in September 2018, its first Panasonic air conditioner– April 2019; among other milestones.
