If you are a science student proficient in English, eager to explore science and innovation in France, and interested in learning or enhancing your French language skills, Campus France invites you to participate in this short-term language, scientific, and technological study program.
Program Overview
French+Sciences is a practical professional training initiative where students engage as future engineers in top-notch companies and research organizations within cutting-edge technological sectors. Developed by Campus France in collaboration with French Language Centers (FLE), universities, engineering schools, and companies, French+Sciences is a short-term language and scientific study program focused on advanced technological sectors.
Eligibility and Requirements
The program is designed for international university students in scientific and technical fields who are English speakers. A B2 level in English is required, and participants can be beginners in French.
Program Sessions
The French+Sciences Program offers 3 to 4-week stays in several cities across France, each focusing on a specific scientific topic. Sessions include Sustainable Development (Montpellier), Science and Technology of the Sea (Brest), Micro, Nano, and Smart Technologies for Industrial Applications (Besançon), Transportation and Energy (Rouen), and Mountain Science (Chambéry).
Session Details
- Undergraduate (Bachelor’s level) students seeking language, scientific, and cultural immersion in France are eligible.
- Language Requirements: Beginner level or better in French, B2 level in English.
- Sessions are primarily conducted in English with some French learning modules.
- English-speaking tutors assist students during their stay.
- Morning sessions include French language instruction, while afternoons consist of scientific modules and cultural activities.
