BMW GROUP ENGAGE BILLIONS SCHOLARSHIP TO ATTEND THE ONE YOUNG WORLD SUMMIT 2024 IN MONTRÉAL, CANADA (FULLY FUNDED)

Applications are currently open for the 2024 One Young World Summit Engage Billions Scholarship. This scholarship aims to support young policy leaders worldwide in attending the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montréal as part of BMW Group’s global delegation. Additionally, scholars will gain access to the “Welcome! New Parliament” event in Brussels, bringing together young leaders from business, policy-making, and NGOs.

Requirements:

Applicants must be young leaders actively engaged in and impacting the role of democracy in climate policy. They should have at least two years of experience in one of the following roles:

– A policy-making/advisory role in climate policy within a supra-national or national government/civil service.
– A policy and advocacy role in a national or international NGO or think tank focusing on climate.
– A leadership role within a youth/student-led organization advocating for progressive climate policy and increased democratic participation.
– A leadership role within a community-led organization advocating for progressive climate policy and increased democratic participation.

Candidates must also:

– Be between 18 and 30 years old by May 2024.
– Be available to attend the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montreal from September 17th to 21st.
– Be available to participate in the Welcome! New Parliament Youth Summit in Brussels in June/July 2024.

Scholarship Benefits:

– Participation in the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montreal as a BMW Group delegate.
– Hotel accommodation in Montreal from September 17th to 21st, 2024.
– Coverage of travel expenses to and from Montreal (economy flights).
– Catering including breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the Summit.
– Transportation between the Summit accommodation and venue.
– Coverage of travel expenses to and from Brussels.
– Hotel accommodation in Brussels for the Welcome! New Parliament Youth Summit.
– Permanent membership of the One Young World Ambassador Community.
– Access to BMW professionals in their field for consultancy as needed.
