AVEVA HAS NAMED JOANNA MAINGUY AS DIRECTOR OF THE SUSTAINABILITY ACCELERATOR.
Aveva, a prominent player in industrial software, leading digital transformation and sustainability efforts, has announced Joanna Mainguy’s appointment as Sustainability Accelerator Director.
Joanna’s selection underscores Aveva’s commitment to enhancing its sustainability impact in alignment with global climate objectives.
In her role as Sustainability Accelerator Director, Joanna will concentrate solely on sustainability initiatives and strategies to expedite innovation, aiding Aveva’s clients in reaching their net-zero objectives.
She will assess Aveva’s utilization of market and customer analysis to guide internal development, advise on new customer partnerships, and determine avenues for growth in the partnership network and M&A pipeline, aligning with sustainability priorities.
Joanna will spearhead the implementation of a tailored sustainability solutions plan addressing the urgent needs of Aveva’s industrial clients regarding low-carbon transitions, circularity, and resilience, employing an integrated approach spanning product development, marketing, and sales.
Collaborating closely with Aveva’s portfolio, business area, and R&D leaders, Joanna will continue to enhance sustainability capabilities and foster collaboration on market initiatives supporting industry’s contribution to an expedited energy transition and circular economy adoption.
Joanna Mainguy previously served as Industry Director, EMEA, for Energy & Sustainability at Microsoft, overseeing strategic engagements with major energy providers and facilitating the energy transition through digital solutions.
With over 15 years of experience spanning the energy value chain, including roles at system integrators, software, and energy companies, Joanna brings extensive industry expertise to her new role.
