Fields of Study: Fellowships are granted to selected students in fields related to the Faculty of Science.
Value of the Award: The program offers two types of fellowships within graduate schools: 30 fully financed Ph.D. fellowships divided between integrated and ordinary Ph.D. fellowships, and a number of Research Training Supplements totaling DKK 550,000, with an annual budget of EUR 840 million.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants interested in the Aarhus University scholarship for a 3-year Ph.D. study program must have completed a relevant Master’s degree equivalent to a Danish Master’s degree of 120 ECTS. All applications are evaluated based on submitted materials, considering research experience after the qualifying exam. Applicants must also provide English language qualifications equivalent to an ‘English B level’ in the Danish upper secondary school.
Target Group: Aarhus scholarships are open to Danish citizens who meet all necessary criteria for Ph.D. scholarships.
Application Procedure: Applicants must submit required documents such as academic transcripts, English language certificates, letters of recommendation, and other references. All documents should be in English or translated into English if originally in another language. If the project description is not in English, the application will be rejected. English language qualifications equivalent to an ‘English B level’ must be documented.
