MEET RAVEBETA, THE CYBERSECURITY STARTUP REDEFINING PROTECTION WITH A 95% CUSTOMER SATISFACTION RATE

It is not breaking news that numerous businesses and organizations are establishing their presence in the cyberspace as the world succumbs to digitalization and globalization.

However, a significant downside to this trend is the increasing frequency of cyberattacks and threats, with cybercriminals becoming more sophisticated, leading to more devastating effects.

According to a report from Kaspersky, cyberattacks targeting SMEs increased by 89 percent in 2022. For Nigeria, the situation is more severe, with attacks rising by 174 percent in the first six months of 2022, resulting in a loss of over $500 million to Nigerian SMEs, as reported by BusinessDay.

Ravebeta, a cybersecurity startup, aims to address these challenges and safeguard digital assets against threats. Founded in 2018 by Igwe Prince Ikechukwu, the company focuses on providing cybersecurity solutions, developing innovative software, and offering tailored solutions to meet diverse business needs.

Motivated by a personal experience of a family member’s business losing over $150,000 to cyberattacks, Igwe Prince Ikechukwu established Ravebeta to sensitize society, especially SME staff, and bring in cyber defense skills to protect businesses and organizations adequately.

BACKGROUND ON RAVEBETA

The team at Ravebeta includes Noble Monday as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) overseeing technical development and Azorom Ebube Immaculate as the Chief Operations Officer (COO) managing marketing and operations.

Despite being in its early stages and currently bootstrapping operations with support from angel investors, Ravebeta has attracted a significant number of businesses, including real estate companies, FMCG, telecoms, and government agencies, achieving a 95 percent user satisfaction rate.

Ravebeta aims to deliver on its promise of safeguarding organizations through its patented product, Ravebeta Plus, which is still in development. The company plans to raise VC funding after the launch of Ravebeta Plus to support small-scale businesses and contribute to their growth.

Ravebeta stands out with its global outlook while maintaining a localized approach to cybersecurity experiences in different markets. The company targets both large and smaller businesses, addressing unique cyber challenges specific to local markets.

COMPANYS AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

The company’s expansion plans prioritize awareness and sensitization projects over physical expansion, aiming to reach a broader pool of current and future business owners. Ravebeta is investing in outreach programs to schools, universities, and the general public to create awareness about the importance of safeguarding the cyberspace.

In summary, Ravebeta represents a new approach to tackling cyber threats, combining cybersecurity solutions, software development, and digital skill enhancement. Led by a seasoned expert, the company aims to empower individuals and organizations, contributing to the advancement of the tech industry in the digital era.
