Applications are now open for the 2024 FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship Program.
The Women in Finance Scholarship aims to encourage and support talented women pursuing careers in finance. It focuses on financial asset management, market risk management, fixed-income, and derivatives finance within the capital markets.
Scholarship Details:
- Award Amount: US$20,000 annually
- Distribution: 50% paid directly to the recipient, 50% paid to the educational institution for tuition assistance.
History:
- Launched in 2014 as the FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship.
- Continued after FINCAD’s acquisition by Numerix in 2023.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Enrollment: Must be enrolled and attending a Master’s or PhD program in Finance full-time.
- Study Timeline: Studies must commence between January 1, 2024, and February 1, 2025.
- Work Experience: Less than 10 years of total work experience and less than 5 years of professional experience in finance.
- Citizenship: Open to female citizens of any country.
- Academic Institution: Must be enrolled in a post-graduate program at an accredited university.
