FUBARA CONFIRMS NOT BEING IN CHARGE FOR OVER 8 MONTHS

Governor Similanayi Fubara of Rivers State confirmed that he began actively making gubernatorial decisions in February 2024. Speaking on Tuesday at the Egbeda Community Secondary School field during the inauguration of internal road projects in Emohua Local Government Area, with Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in attendance, Fubara highlighted the efficient and cost-effective delivery of governance and projects.

According to Daily Trust, Fubara stated, “We are just starting, but I assure you of more attention. If in four months, we can do this and receive this level of applause, you can imagine what will happen after one year or two years. Rivers State will experience something different from regular governance.”

He emphasized that the administration’s active governance began in February 2024, which marked the commencement of significant decision-making and governance activities. Fubara expressed pride in the progress made so far, noting the satisfaction of the people with the administration’s efforts.

The governor assured that his administration would continue to implement projects that benefit the people, citing the Egbeda Internal Roads Project as an example. This project was completed to meet the needs of residents, alleviating long-standing flooding issues and enhancing their happiness.

Fubara also expressed gratitude for the support received from the people before, during, and after the elections, stating that his administration is committed to delivering the benefits of democracy, including various projects and social services.
