Win Up to $25,000: Apply for Ashoka Changemakers Challenge 2024!
Calling all changemakers around the world!
Ashoka and HSBC are teaming up for the “Together, Towards, Tomorrow” Challenge, seeking innovative solutions that:
- Bridge the generation gap: Foster social connections between young and old.
- Empower young leaders: Amplify youth leadership and purpose.
- Shape a better future: Create positive change for generations to come.
Eligibility:
- Impact your community: Work in one of the listed countries (see website for full list).
- Young leadership: Have at least one team member born in 1994 or later with at least 12 months of leadership experience (or a founding member born after 1994 if your organization is less than a year old).
- English proficiency: Submit your application and participate in English-language activities.
- Stage of development: Be an early- or mid-stage venture (non-profit, for-profit, or hybrid).
- Minimum age: Be 18 or older to apply.
- Solution development:
- Existing solutions: Have a clear business plan and a minimum viable product (prototype, pilot, etc.).
- New solutions: Have a well-defined plan for implementation.
All eligible applicants will receive:
- Feedback: Receive feedback from Ashoka and/or HSBC representatives on your application.
- Community connection: Connect with a network of changemakers through the application process and community events.
Early Entry Applicants will receive:
- Feedback: Receive early application feedback.
- Awards: Three early entry winners will receive $1,500 each (being an early entry winner does not guarantee being a final winner).
All semifinalists and finalists will:
- Refine your application: Get feedback from Ashoka, HSBC, and peers to improve your proposal.
- Learning opportunities: Gain valuable insights from Ashoka, HSBC, and their networks.
- Prize money: Receive a minimum of $15,000 and up to $25,000.
- Recognition: Be recognized as a leading changemaker in your field.
Diversity matters: Ashoka seeks a diverse group of winners representing various focus areas, age groups, and geographic regions.
