The British Council is offering a prestigious fellowship program in partnership with the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (IASH) at the University of Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your research in a supportive environment and collaborate with leading scholars.
Here’s a breakdown of the program:
Eligibility:
- Hold a PhD and be within seven years of its completion.
- Be a postdoctoral researcher based in a country that receives Official Development Assistance (ODA) from the British Council (check their website for a list of eligible countries).
- Propose research aligned with the British Council’s vision of promoting a more peaceful and prosperous world built on trust.

- Financial Support: Receive a competitive monthly bursary of £2,500 to cover your living expenses during the fellowship. The British Council will also cover your travel costs.
