RESTRUCTURE OF “NORMAN F. GANT/AMERICAN BOARD OF OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY FELLOWSHIP” IN A WELL-POLISHED FORMAT:
The Norman F. Gant/American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) Fellowship honors Dr. Gant, a National Academy of Medicine (NAM) member and former ABOG executive director. This program empowers promising early-career obstetrics and gynecology scholars to actively participate in the National Academies’ health and medicine-related work. Funded by Dr. Gant and ABOG, the fellowship particularly encourages nominations from underrepresented minorities.
Physicians who are ABOG Diplomates or Active Candidates for Certification and hold non-tenured faculty positions at any university are eligible. The Gant/ABOG Fellowship is part of the NAM Fellowships for Health Science Scholars program!
