ALLAN GRAY MAKERS ENTREPRENEURSHIP INTER-COLLEGE COMPETITION 2024 FOR YOUNG SOUTH AFRICAN STUDENTS (R120 000 IN PRIZES)

Applications are currently being accepted for the 2024 Allan Gray Makers Entrepreneurship Inter-College Competition. The competition aims to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset among TVET students. Enrollment is open to students currently attending one of South Africa’s 50 Public TVET Colleges for the 2024 academic year.
Benefits:
Students have the chance to win a portion of R120,000 in prizes, along with a year of mentorship and business support. Winning teams also gain recognition for their colleges and the prestige of being an Inter-College category champion. Participants can also network and collaborate with other students in the technical field to potentially create impactful businesses.
How to enter:
The competition is open to students currently enrolled at one of South Africa’s 50 public TVET colleges. To be eligible:
- Register an account using your name and email address.
- Upon registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email containing login details.
- Complete the entry form. You can save your progress and return later if needed.
- Once satisfied with your answers, submit the form.
- You’ll receive a confirmation email of your submission.
Timeline:
- Entries open from 4 March to 12 April 2024.
- Internal Rounds: 13 May to 14 June 2024.
- Regional Rounds: August 2024.
- National Finals: 5 September 2024.
