Applications are currently open for the 2024 EPL Ghana Public Sector Fellowship. This fellowship offers a unique one-year professional development opportunity for young graduates who have shown a strong interest in and commitment to driving change in the public sector and policy-influencing organizations.
eligibility requirements:
Applicants must:
- Be Ghanaian nationals with a clean criminal record.
- Have completed National Service (NSS) at the time of application.
- Be under 32 years of age at the time of application.
- Demonstrate a commitment to public sector work and show leadership potential.
- Have a proven track record of community involvement and a desire to serve Ghana.
- Possess strong written and verbal English skills.
- Have basic computer skills.
- Be able to work under pressure in a professional environment.
Essay requirements:
Applicants must submit four essays:
- Describe your interest in Ghana’s Public Sector and explain how being selected as an Emerging Public Leaders (EPL) Fellow aligns with your personal and professional goals (500 words).
- Describe a situation where you demonstrated initiative and leadership. Discuss the measures and actions you implemented, as well as the result and impact (500 words).
- Explain your understanding of Ghana’s Public Sector (300 words).
- Provide insight into what inspires you, including your values, beliefs, and convictions, and explain why (300 words).
Additional requirements:
- Certificates, including NSS Certificate/ID.
- CV (limited to 2 pages).
- Copy of Ghana Card/Bio Page of Passport.
