STUDY-IN-CHINA: 2024 UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OF CHINA (USTC) SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
The scholarships offered by the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) aim to enhance the university’s international education, foster connections with high-quality science and education resources domestically and abroad, and establish a vital platform for international cooperation and exchange.
In addition to overseeing the admission, management, and services for international students, the university’s administrative department also provides Chinese language and culture programs.
To date, USTC has trained nearly 2000 international students from over 100 countries, with 63% pursuing Ph.D. degrees and 29% pursuing master’s degrees.

Scholarship Requirements:
To be eligible for the USTC Scholarships, applicants must:
Be Non-Chinese Nationals in good health and not currently studying in China.
Hold a high school diploma for Bachelor’s Degree Studies, a Bachelor’s Degree for Master’s Degree Studies, and a Master’s Degree for Doctoral Degree Studies.
Meet age requirements (under 30 for Bachelor’s, under 35 for Master’s, and under 40 for Doctoral).
Submit a Pre-graduation Certificate for graduates expecting to obtain their degrees in 2024.
Scholarship Duration and Reward:
USTC Scholarships provide full coverage for all admitted students, including:
Full Tuition Waiver
Accommodation (Free University Dormitory or Accommodation Subsidy)
Monthly Stipend: CNY 2,500/month for Bachelor’s, CNY 3,000/month for Master’s, CNY 3,500/month for Doctoral
