2024 PETROLEUM TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT FUND (PTDF) SCHOLARSHIP | FULLY FUNDED

For the 2024/2025 award, applications will be limited to PTDF partner universities in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Malaysia, where the Fund ensures high standards and serves the scheme’s objectives best.

Eligibility Criteria for Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) Scholarship: Applicants must meet the following requirements:

MSc Requirements:

• Minimum Second Class Upper (2.1) or Second Class Lower (2.2) with relevant industry experience
• Completion of the mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC)
• Computer literacy
• Possession of 5 O/level credits, including English Language and Mathematics
• Statement of purpose (maximum 500 words) explaining the proposed study’s relevance to the industry and its expected impact on national development
• National Identity Number (NIN) with verification PhD Requirements:
• Completion of the mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC)
• Computer literacy
• Possession of 5 O/level credits, including English Language and Mathematics
• Minimum Second Class Lower (2.2) in first degree and a good post-graduate degree
• Research proposal relevant to the oil and gas industry
• Confirmation letter from Vice Chancellors for lecturers confirming no other scholarships
• National Identity Number (NIN) with verification
