DOROTHY DAY FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM [Lydia’s House]
THE DOROTHY DAY FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM caters to women of faith who wish to reside in a community and engage in life-sharing with families experiencing homelessness. This two-year residential initiative in Ohio provides private living quarters, a stipend, educational opportunities, growth prospects, and more. Each fellow receives mentoring in the efforts against family poverty and homelessness while actively contributing to the upkeep and staffing of the shelter. Although not mandatory, fellows have the option to attend classes at the nearby Xavier University to pursue a master’s degree or professional certificate. women of color are strongly encouraged to apply
