LIQUID C2 PARTNERS WITH GOOGLE CLOUD TO BRING GENERATIVE AI CAPABILITIES TO AFRICA

Liquid C2, a business of Cassava Technologies, a pan-African technology group, today announced collaborations with global technology leader Google Cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) company Anthropic to deliver advanced cloud, cyber security solutions, and generative AI (gen AI) capabilities to African businesses across the continent.

Building on the November 2023 signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for collaboration with Google Cloud in Africa, Liquid C2 aims to enhance cybersecurity and cloud offerings across the continent. This collaboration introduces customers to Google Cloud’s latest AI, data, collaboration, and security solutions, promising heightened security measures, access to advanced cloud technologies, and a commitment to securing digital assets.

Liquid C2 is poised to become one of Google Cloud’s largest Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) in Africa, merging Google Cloud’s leading security solutions with Liquid C2’s expertise in offering comprehensive security consulting. The collaboration also allows Liquid C2 to leverage Google Cloud and Anthropic’s AI models through Google Cloud’s Vertex AI platform, facilitating the development and deployment of solutions within cloud environments.

As a strategic partner, Liquid C2 will deliver Google Workspace to customers across the continent, enhancing team connections in a cloud-native environment. Google Workspace features embedded generative AI tools to boost productivity and collaboration.

In a separate but related development, Liquid C2 is working directly with Anthropic, a prominent AI company, to develop AI solutions for large enterprises aiming to enhance productivity and revenue growth. This collaboration signifies a shared commitment to empowering African businesses with state-of-the-art AI solutions.

Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, emphasized the transformative potential of the partnership, stating that the collaboration will bring generative AI, security, and other cloud technologies to businesses across the continent.
