Savvy is a global virtual Fellowship program available in 111 languages, aimed at passionate and brilliant young individuals aspiring to be part of the new generation of impact entrepreneurs. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the recent macroeconomic downturn, Savvy Fellowship is providing individuals who have lost their jobs with the necessary knowledge and skills to start impact-driven businesses and succeed as entrepreneurs.

As a Savvy Fellow, participants receive knowledge, skills, tools, resources, a support network, and a community to build sustainable, innovative, and profitable impact-driven businesses. Backed by the Roddenberry Foundation, the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation, the International Telecommunication Union, and Because International, the Savvy Global Fellowship for Aspiring and Early-Stage Entrepreneurs has received over 198,860 applications worldwide since 2020 and has selected, trained, and supported 11,366 Fellows from 170 countries.

Eligibility:

• The call for applications is open to aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs globally, without geographical, ethnic, or academic restrictions.
• Savvy accepts new Fellows between the ages of 18 – 40, demonstrating passion to learn and create lasting change in their community.
• Applicants above the age of 40 with at least 5 years of work or entrepreneurial experience are also considered.

The Fellowship program, lasting 12 to 32 weeks, assists selected Fellows in answering relevant questions to kickstart their impact venture, gain early traction, achieve product-market fit, and scale into new markets.

E-Learning: The Savvy Fellowship begins with a rigorous 12-week e-learning experience covering everything from ideation to scaling. Participants learn key aspects such as understanding the customer, building the right product or service, and effectively positioning solutions in the market.

Weeks 1-12 cover various topics, including understanding the customer, building the right product or service, leading the competition, understanding the target market, drafting the right revenue model, customer acquisition strategies, operations, business structure, go-to-market strategy, team building, fundraising strategy, and securing the right partners.
