TUBITAK INTERNATIONAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2024 FOR OUTSTANDING RESEARCHERS TO STUDY IN TURKEY.
Applications are now open for the 2024 Tubitak International Fellowship Program.
To contribute to strategic projects within the country, the program aims to support accomplished researchers, particularly Turkish scientists, who have demonstrated excellence in scientific and/or technological achievements. The goal is to encourage these researchers to conduct their work in Turkey, fostering collaboration with leading state or foundation universities, competent research infrastructures under Law no. 6550, public research institutes, private sector companies with R&D or design centers, or equity firms established in Turkey within techno parks.
The program comprises the following components:
- Scholarship for the coordinator
- Family allowance (if applicable)
- Initial research grant
- Research project grant
- Grant for establishing a research team (scholarship for up to 5 graduate students and post-doctoral researchers included in the project coordinator’s research team in Turkey)
- Project Incentive Bonus for researchers involved in the research project
- Institutional share allowance for the host institution
- Health insurance for the coordinator and their family
- Travel allowance for the coordinator and their family
- Mentoring Support
The fellowship period ranges from a minimum of 24 months to a maximum of 36 months.
