“SHETTIMA LAUNCHES MSME CLINICS, HANDS OVER 200 STORES TO OGUN TRADERS”

Vice President Kashim Shettima announced on Tuesday the handover of 200 recently renovated stores to 400 entrepreneurs at the well-known Asero Adire market in Abeokuta.

Shettima revealed this initiative during the second edition of the Expanded National MSME Clinics in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The Vice President emphasized that this move is part of President Tinubu’s administration’s commitment to supporting small businesses and creating a conducive environment for their success.

The beneficiaries will have free access to the stores for one year, after which they will be offered discounted rates for facility usage. Shettima highlighted that these clinics and associated activities aim to simplify the process for small businesses, enabling them to grow and become notable players in their respective industries.

He stated, “The National MSME Clinics serve as a bridge between us – between the people and the government. They are designed to bring the government in proximity to the people by convening all regulatory agencies under one roof.”
