AUSTRIAN DEVELOPMENT COOPERATION SCHOLARSHIPS 2024 FOR STUDY IN AUSTRIA (FULLY FUNDED)

Applications are now open for the 2024 Austrian Development Cooperation Scholarships. Every year, the Austrian Development Cooperation offers scholarships to students from developing countries to help with tuition fees and general expenses.

The Austrian Development Cooperation Scholarships for ITH Diploma Course

The Austrian Development Cooperation offers scholarships for students from ADC’s priority countries and other developing countries who wish to attend the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management’s Diploma Course. The Diploma Course includes a General Module, a Professional Module (Hospitality Management or Tourism Management), and an Elective (Entrepreneurship or Teacher Training).

ITH Scholarship Application Process:

• Students may attend ITH through private means or scholarships given by the Austrian Development Cooperation.
• A limited number of scholarships are offered yearly, and it is a competitive process.
• The scholarship benefits include tuition fees, accommodation, flight tickets, health insurance, food, excursions, and a monthly pocket money of €205.
• Not included are transfer costs, visa fees, accommodation costs for specific scholarships, and travel expenses.

Scholarship for Developing Countries:

• The scholarship includes tuition fees, health insurance, food (Monday to Friday), excursions, and a monthly pocket money of €205.
• Not included are accommodation costs, flight tickets, and visa fees.

Eligibility Criteria:

• There is an age limit of 35 years for eligibility.

Application Procedure:

1. Obtain information about ITH from the website or an Austrian consulate/embassy.
2. Download the ITH application form or send an inquiry to office@ith-salzburg.at.
3. All applications should be sent directly to the Institute via email or postal service.
4. The submission deadline is March 31, 2024.
5. Confirmation of receipt and processing of applications will be sent by email.
6. Applicants will be informed about the result of their application in May 2024.

Timeline:

• Deadline for the submission of the application form: March 31, 2024
• Beginning of Courses: September 30, 2024
• Visa Application: Start the process after receiving the letter of acceptance in May 2024.
• Duration of the Diploma Course: September 30, 2024 – June 13, 2025
