Noah Sewakanu assumed the role of the new Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Ogun chapter, on Wednesday, succeeding his predecessor, Abiodun Akinola, who retired. During his inauguration in Imeko, Ogun, Sewakanu committed to upholding the union’s ethics.
Expressing his commitment to an open-door administration, Sewakanu emphasized that he would be a fair and impartial leader, providing all union members with the opportunity to contribute to its growth and development.
He outlined plans for his administration to enhance the relationship between the union and education agencies in the state through consultations and consolidation. (NAN)
